The Mathilda Wall Sconce, Right, has a wallplate and arms made of cast brass in a matt gold finish with markings on their surfaces that look as if they have has been smoothed in place with a palette knife. This brings the sconce a brutalist feel and adds extra texture to the design. The shades on the two-light sconce, made of milky white glass, slide into pronounced prongs that make the sconce look jewelry like. Designed by Marjorie Skouras, with a profile inspired by an antique, the gold sconce is dimmable.
